Carolina Gardens
Shaped American and Japanese holly, neatly trimmed thuja, and round boxwood spheres are some of the most commonly used plants as a foundation in gardens in North & South Carolina. These evergreen shrubs are used to soften house façades and create a lasting, warm, and welcoming atmosphere around the entrance all year round. The design is then complemented with flowering shrubs and trees, as well as beautiful ornamental grasses. Surprisingly, many of the plants used in these states also thrive in our colder climate.

Plants
During the winter months, the importance of evergreens becomes even more clear—also here in Sweden, when the garden is otherwise resting. Many of the plants used in the Carolinas can thrive in our climate as well. And in spring, magnolias, azaleas, and beautiful flowering dogwoods come into full bloom, perfectly complemented by the lush evergreen structure.
